Sunday Deals

We made two Harris Teeter trips today! First trip we bought 6 Free Toothbrushes, 6 mini Ben and Jerry's ice cream, 2 Sun-sweet dried fruit on close out, 3 SouthBeach bars, 2 Zevia Cola, muffin cups, 6 cans of Pringles, 3 Sweet Baby Rays BBQ (raincheck), 2 propel waters (free coupon), Always products, and 2 Secret deodorants. Starting total was $68 and after coupons and ZVR coupons we paid $14. Not bad today considering the fruit, cereal bars, chips, and cola will be going with us on our vacation to FL later this week! Trey enjoyed a mini ice cream in the car since under the lids are mini spoons!

2nd trip
Lots of free deals or very cheap. I was able to find close out Jimmy Dean products for breakfast, 5 more free toothbrushes, 6 free M&Ms, 2 free lunchables, 2 baking cups, Always products, 2 Hawaiian Buns. I paid $3.34! Great deals! Now we have bread for sandwiches, lunchables, and candy for our vacation. (See picture below)

We also had free lunch... Trey and I used 2 free slice coupons for pizza at Jets Pizza. We love Jets Pizza!

Almost 4th of July

Since we are nearing the 4th of July it was time to do a Pinterest project and make a new wreath. If I can do it, then anyone can!

Super easy to make:
Red yarn
White yarn
Blue yarn
Wooden Stars
White paint
Straw wreath
Velcro

Just wrap the yarn around the straw wreath (don't unwrap the straw wreath from the plastic it comes in). I literally wrapped the yarn around the wreath while watching a movie one evening. Paint the white stars and Velcro them on to the wreath. Easy enough! We spent under $5 for the wreath materials using AC Moore and Hobby Lobby Coupons...thank you to my husband for standing in line to help buy materials for cheap using coupons!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Harris Teeter Thursday Deal

HT Super Double Deals! Unfortunately, HT was out of several of the deals tonight. I paid 63 cents tonight! I was able to get some overage on coupons which rarely happens. Plus I was able to get Razors for a homeless shelter donation. I love Super Doubles!

Letter of the Day: C

Today's letter of the Day is C...
C is for Chapman! Today was a daddy and son day while mommy was at work. He went to the bank to take his "coins" from his piggy bank. Today's Bible story was about Creation today.

Today's food: chips, crackers, and cookies. Trey picked chips out at the store that had a C on the package: Cape Cod Chips.

He also picked out a new toy car at the store to go with his letter C!

Today's activity was using chalk. Trey decorated our little cement pad in the backyard. What a fun day!

Finished Product!

Letter of the Day: B

Today's letter of the day is B! Today's foods were bananas, blueberries, and pizza bread. Our Bible story of the day was The Tower of Babel.

His favorite activity was bubble blowing art. We added food coloring to the bubbles and blew them on to the paper. Lots of fun!

Letter of the Day: A

So we decided this summer to do a letter of the day with our son. I read an article about planning a food menu for kids using a letter of the day. So we started planning food and a few activities to go with each letter. So far, our son is excited about playing school and learning letters!

For letter A we had: apples, animal crackers, alphabet cookies, and almonds! We also did finger painting and made apple pictures. We played a flash card game with letters...which he loved!

Throughout the day we focused on "A" vocabulary words and read the Adam and Eve story out of the Bible.
